  • SYSTEM DESCRIPTION: Provides power generation and transmission of real-time information through the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) providing historical information through reports and the HMI. The data is automatically polled from multiples meters. 

Features include:

  • Installed at Electrical Utility : The ix-RMS system was installed for Control Room remote operation where the system  polls meters over Microwave/Optical and Ethernet connections.
  • Protocols include DNP3 (and DNP3i), MODBUS and QDIP.
  • The system is used to monitor Generation and Transmission lines over the entire twin countries.
  • Shift Engineers and Operators monitor the system using the HMI in the control room.
  • Presently Excel reports are generated later for analysis.
  • This feature is presently being updated to use SQL 2010 R@ Reporting Services
